| The Improv offers young jazzsters the opportunity to encounter jazz firsthand. Through hands-on experiences with musical activities including the creation of their own musical note puppet and found object instrumentation, guests are introduced to a musical genre that enriches their lives. |

Instrument Petting Zoo  The Jazz Festival and The Music Center of Kirkwood are partnering to bring instrumental experiences to children of all ages. Well-loved (and well-used) trombones, guitars, saxophones, trumpets, flutes, violins and an array of percussion instruments will be found in The Improv’s Instrument Petting Zoo. |
